Job Title: Optometric Technician
We are looking for a new staff member! Melissa is leaving us to embark on a new chapter of her life. She is moving out of state and is getting married. We certainly wish her the best but now….we need to hire!
This person will be working with Dr Kramer as a technician performing tests on patients before they see him. These include but not limited to: color vision, depth perception, retinal imaging, visual field testing, eye pressures and recording all medical history.
Contact lenses are another big part of this position. It includes patient instruction, managing all inventory of lenses and ordering patient lenses.
Other duties include answering phones and checking patients into the office for their appointment.
Dr Kramer is an awesome teacher so this person will have the opportunity to learn many things in the Optometry field. There is a lot of room for growth in our office. We provide continuing education at conferences and in office training.
We are a small office but a busy one. Being a team player is a must. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task are a requirement. We desire a self motivated, highly organized person with a great attitude with people skills and a willingness to learn and continue learning new things.
